The blogging Commisioner

For those of you who haven’t alrady seen it through other blogs, European Commission Vice-President Margot Wallstr?m now has a weblog on her official site. There are no comments yet, and no gossip about what happens in meetings of the Commission, but it’s an interesting step forward.

    No, we’re taking a well-deserved break, after the unusually intense nov/dec.

    Slow periods have been a recurring thing for us. In the best of worlds we’d've posted five times a week every week, but in the real world this is a hobby and we all have, you know, lives.

    And there’s a lotta work going on behind the scenes on the awards, too. Those comment threads are still active weeks later…

    How did I manage to forget that? I haven’t taken any break, I must have spent 30-40 manhours on those damned things.
