		<description>I frequently go to museums with a photographer friend, and we also parse and complain about curation and wall texts.  Ignorance, a-historicism, too much historicism, not getting the art, bad hanging choices - we've seen and bitched about it all.  She puts enormous effort into the texts accompanying her own exhibitions.

She gets especially angry about denial of agency - "she did it, but she didn't know what she was doing."  That occasionally happens to male artists too, but it's almost the rule with the work of women (see Joanna Russ, "How to Suppress Women's Writing").  In cases like Bourgeois, it's also silly.

I wish I could go to Paris to see the exhibition - hell, I wish I could go to Paris!</description>
